I also ran in Carlsbad, 1966-67. When's the last time you were there? I went back last year and couldn't believe it was the same place, very run down and they must have shortened it!! I couldn't imagine running a top fueler down it now, even the old timer front motored ones!! I ran C Gas. After all the NHRA tracks I've been to lately, I just don't remember CBad being that small a facility! A few broken down wooden bleachers, a roach coach food wagon and the below the hill back side pits!! I'd forgotten it all i guess.
