I have been using Adobe Illustrator 13 years now and still have an unused set of
Rotring Technical pens. Here's one I did in illustrator last October....

Depends on your rate of speed to learn the tools. Everyone learns at a different rate. If you can draw well already then it takes less time to learn. It took an eight hour course to learn most of the tools. It was up to me...to learn more. Online tutorials and developing techniques can take a while to build skill level up.

Does that answer your question?

Many a true word spoken in jest. I like the coloring book idea...
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you like them.
Watch this space, a '55 Bel-Air & a late model Camaro are in the works as we speak...

Hey.... nice 'maro . You do some really nice work! I feel like an athlete on a pro team here . Except you REAL artists are the pros and I got drafted from the special olympics ! At least y'all let me draw stuff and post it too! Nice work , for sure. The more I think about it , a HR.com coloring book would be a very cool thing to put together . You guys (and gals) who draw really well could all contribute stuff , and the forum members could vote on which ones to use or something.... I think it would maybe help to get the future generations interested in these wonderful , rolling works of art we call hot rods.
I know I'd buy 'em for my tots.
Oh , yeah - and one for me !

Hey, thanks. It means a lot to know people appreciate it.

I'd be up for contributing to some kind of book, too.
