Rotring Technical pens. Here's one I did in illustrator last October....
Depends on your rate of speed to learn the tools. Everyone learns at a different rate. If you can draw well already then it takes less time to learn. It took an eight hour course to learn most of the tools. It was up to me...to learn more. Online tutorials and developing techniques can take a while to build skill level up.

Nice stuff..... You should make a hot rod coloring book so I can give it to my young'uns to color.
