Paul and Johnnymac,

(Note: major plug to follow)

Since we've strayed off the topic to music in upper CA, if you ever get a chance to see the band Diego's Umbrella playing, stop in and harass the crap out of their lead singer, Vaughn. That's my son. They play quite often in Santa Cruz (in fact they'll be at the Crow's Nest on Nov. 10) and they get up in the Chico area and northern coast a couple times a year. Their main base is San Francisco where they play every Tues. night at The Park Chalet (right on hwy 1 near Golden Gate Park) and a variety of clubs on the week ends. They play what one reviewer called "Spanish Surf Pirate Rock". You can hear some of their tunes here or here

Always learning...and sharing what I've learned.

Hey, thanks Silver,
My father in law always says He can't even draw a deep breath!
I appreciate you taking a look, and taking the time to comment. Keep looking, I'll post more. I'm finishing up a job for Prosper Magazine right now. The did a piece on Mercedes, and wanted a sketch of an R500. I'm real excited. It's my first paid publication gig. I think I'll start a new thread on it when I get the OK from Prosper. In the spring of next year, I'll have three pages in Rod and Kulture Illustrated, but it's a freebie. Great exposer though.
Thanks again,
