some of my work

Here is some of my work. Pen and ink, and the one with the motor blowing up was done with a ballpoint pen. Most of the stuff Iv'e seen on this site, from other artists, is fantastic, and I would really like to get your opinions. Thanks

Great hand drawn work!! Nice detail and perpective. That piece of the motor bowing up would make a great logo for the therodderz kids. Not talking about our guys.

humble thanks

Thanks everyone. I'm trying to post more. Most of my files are too large to import, and I'm new at the whole "computer thing". But I'll keep trying. I do have a blog of my own that I just started. I'll have to figure out how to put the address in my profile so you can visit. I have more on it, that I can't seem to be able to put on here. Please be patient with me, I'm used to paint brushes, and torque wrenches; not keyboards. Anyway, I'll see what I can do tonight when I get home from work.

Thanks 73,
My father-in-law always says, "I can't even draw a deep breath!" I appreciate your kind words. Show some pics of your car, I'll see if I can do it some justice.

more stuff

I thought I would add a few more. You can see more at my blog site listed in my profile. I also wrote a few words about the great Ed Roth. I would re-type it, but it's too long.

Great stuff. If you want practice, how 'bout letting your imagination run wild with these two. (There are other pics of the duo in my journal if this shot doesn't get the flow going.)

tattoos

I get alot of people asking me about tats. I wonder why. I take that as the ultimate compliment because of the canvas involved. Tattoos are so very personal, and forever(for most people). To have someone ask for a tattoo, I think, is about as flattering as is gets. Thank You WB. You are actually the second person I've read today with that request. I'm doing him a sketch, so how about you? What do ya have in mind? I would tell you what the other fella asked for, but he asked in the private message form. So I think I better ask him if it's OK first. But as for you-What's on your mind? -or your arm-or your back...
John

Your art just screams gearhead! I love it. I would proudly display your work on my body. I have never felt that way before about someones artwork. It just clicks with me.

I know why

I think I know why my art clicks with you WB. I am a camaro FREAK!!! I have had three 1st gen camaros, 1 67, and 2 68s. Typical story, sold them-don't know why-blah-blah-blah. Someday, I will get another. My wife has made it a priority(isn't she cool). I love your car- I checked out your journal. SWEEET! Thanks a bunch for the compliment. Hell- maybe I should start inking skin.

inkwork, you have a real talent there. Very nice detail.
If you do want to get into tats you might just take some pics to a shop and see if they like them or have any intrest in your artwork. You never know.
