I did a little cartoon of me in my Pinto. Just done with a drawing pen. I was gonna color it sometime, but I don't know much about using computer programs.

I can't draw anything but a straight line. I just want to say that you guys are awesome
 If I could draw like that I would have every wall in my garage decorated up with 'toons, etc. Any one of the pics I have seen that has been posted would look great at about full size on a garage wall. As soon as I get a overhead projector I will have it too. I said I can't draw, but I can trace!!!

My cartons start out as hand drawn but most of my work is done in Corel Draw for the clean lines and then eprted to Photoshop for the colours.
I do have some though that the lines are all done by hand with ink and a brush, then they are scanned and coloured in photoshop. It all depends on the effect I want. The attached Ballarat Rod Run design was done with the ink and brush method for the cars and starter then the rest was done with Corel and then finish coloured and separated for screen printing in Photoshop. The others are also the same style of artwwork. I believe this was how a lot of the later Ed Roth work was done using ink and brush for the lines and the photoshopping the colour. Craig

Love your work. Makes me want to break out the sketch pad again (of course, I was never this good). This one is my favorite as it reminds me of my buddies car. Great job.

Here are some old drawings I did a while back. I have been to buzy working on my 40 pickup & mustang to do any drawings recently. Hope to get back into it. Keep up the good posts on this subject. Happy Hot Rodding!

Very nice stuff Neal. I like the way you use the shadows to add to the "real" look. I especially like your first drawing. It looks like noon on a hot summer day.
