You don't know anybody in the IL Quad Cities by any chance? That purple Ford is almost an exact rendering of a co-worker's car. It's a purple '55 or '56 (can't remember which) with a 427 Side Oiler with dual quad's. I printed it off for him, he will flip when he sees it. In a good way.
