Brian's a great guy for thinking about and takeing care of his disabled buddy, but here's something that ought to help out at the next car show they go to.

I wish I could afford to get him something like that!

I custom painted one of my other friends wheel chair years ago. It was a fade job from purple to yellow to red candies. He used it for years and retired it. His new chair ended up to be too heavy for him to get into his car so I went and got his old one that I painted it was a little Quickie like this one.

And I stripped all the paint off it and polished it and leaving it in bare aluminum, it looked pretty cool. He is a WWII war bird nut so he digs it.

You should build him one of those rivetted bomber seats for it!

The problem is they have no suspension so a little padding is needed.

That's true, oh my God would he love that! It still needs to fold of course but it's all about fabbing one up. Cool indeed. We decided against it at the time but we thought about putting some little panel on the side with some nose art.

Brian: Send me the bomber seat when you get it done, and I will upholster it. No charge. It'll make a great tutorial.
