[78 monte]

Well w/ the Volvo coming allong and three bands,I haven't thought much about the old monte at all.Today I posted about the time I let m mother take the car to work and she hated it,too loud,welded spiders,no speedo,manual automatic.
Anyway I got think I had that car for 6yrs and had allot of first in the car(no not that!!).Anyway it was my first car w/ gears.My first car w/ new paint.My first car to run respectivly strong.My first all new exhuast(no coat hangers).First all new set of tire(had one had two but not 4 befor)
Not to mention During woodstock 99" I acidentaly got stuck in the line and prompted to pull holeshot while there.
Took it and enetred in in the 1st GAFB Hot August Nats here.
Blues fest in Turin NY
Night I took it to the quaint college town of Clinton open headers and scared the pants off of people.
The night the Alt. died at 4am and I tried to get it home open headers and blew a fireball out that rolled out so high I could see it(scary)
Night I got icked out of the town of Oriskany cause I was gassing up and the cop ulled in and told me my exhuast was too loud and to get OUT.(pre new exhuast days,they sucked!!)
Time I almost got arrested cause I couldn't pass emmisions so I stuck a piece of paper plate in the windshield to look like an inspection.lol
There all memories some good some bad but I kinna miss it.
Anyway the guy who bought the body plans on a frame off between him and his son so thats cool.

Not to mention all the BS and this oulda been the yr its exempt from emmissions.DOH!!!

Oh yea and my favorite memory.The time I had to get driven back from Woodstock 99 w/ three of my new found freinds in the back seat,me hammered in the pass seat screaming out the window some overly excited nonsense.Yes the driver as sober the monte was safe.

I had to part with my Avatar Monte. The frame rusted the car apart. Rust in Wisconsin...who'da thunk it??? I hear ya man on the memories. I miss mine almost everyday.
