Talking sources for n.o.s. camaro weatherstripping

found a source for original roof rail weatherstripping for a 70-81 camaro/firebird at the best price i've seen from:
NPD nat'l parts depo, 1-800-235-3445 at only $100 per side!!! far cheaper than year one!
they also have a small 130 page catolog of other parts.

Bull, NPD is a great place. I've orderd alot of parts from them. You'd be serprised at how many people by-pass them because you have to enter part of your VIN to get a cat. I say thats smart and a great sighn. They don't up the prices on parts to pay for cat. that people like to collect.

sent you a reply in PM too

checkin pms and will pm you this querry: what if i try to use the year one pieces by cutting the vertical section off right at the bottom of the horizontal piece, cut off the extra then glue it back to the horizontal piece? do you think it will leak. anybody else feel free to chime in. i am thinking if they fit this poorly maybe the other end isn't going to fit very well either. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
