Sourcing small metal box like a Voltage Reg.
I need a small metal box to house a cowl vent motor that I must mount on the firewall. I was thinking about using an old voltage regulator or any other ideas for a metal box to enclose this item. Not sure about the size of a regulator so if someone knows the measurements that might help also.
The size that I need inside the box/cover would be: Depth 2 3/4 minimum Height 3 5/8 minimum Width 2 1/2 minimum Thanks in advance for any suggestions or measurements. If a voltage regulator fits does anyone one know where to buy a chrome cover?

Sourcing small metal box like a Voltage Reg.
Electronic supply houses use to carry small project boxes, both metal and plastic. Check with Radio Shack they may still carry them.
