Southern Pride's 32 Ford Five Window Coupe

I just uploaded photos of my car in the members gallery. It's been on the road since March, and as usual is "a work in progress".

Southern Prides Coupe

Thanks for the comments. I think picking up chicks is only a memory.
It is a "work in progress". I just finished the interior (pictures coming) a couple of months ago. Rolled and pleated naugahyde. Those tires went on about a month ago. The whitewalls were a BIG decision , but I finally went for it and am pleased with the look.
It deserves a better paint job, but that will have to wait. I would like to put in a hotter ignition and dump the HEI. Eventually the stock gas tank will go and be replaced with a tank in the trunk. Roll the rear pan and loose the rear frame horns.
I spoke to Barry Grant Tech the other day and they have a new intake in R&D for the 454. EIGHT Demon 92's!!!!!!! All in time.

Very nice! And it doesn't have a small block. I'd bet Centerline will love it!

In a while, Chet.

I used a drill press. Glued "Scotch Brite" pads onto some coins of various sizes, penny, nickel, dime, quarter, depending on the size of spin I wanted.
I clear coated the aluminum after.

I'm a little forgetful -- exactly which category of "rat rod" does that fit into?

j/k

That thing is gorgeous. I wanted to get fingerprints all over it. I like the pinstriping on the dash, gauges on the firewall, uncluttered interior, fuel line layout, three deuces... hell, everything right down to the fire extinguisher.

A rat may be where you start, but this is where you aim it.

Thanks for the comments and kind words.
I am in Palm Coast, FL. About 25 miles of Daytona. I take it to the "Destination Daytona" cruises every third Saturday.
