Post Space Shuttle

Anyone watching the news on the space shuttle. They lost contact over Texas at 8:00 AM. I heard a large boom about 30 minutes ago.

Just heard it on the radio and been watching it on the news. Doesn't sound good for seven astronauts. A very sad day for sure.

Reports of shuttle debris starting to come in. News report stated they found some in the area of a bank parking lot. I just hope the debris misses any others on the ground and in buildings.

It is an unfortunate thing anytime good people die in this world (anywhere in this world). I just hope their families get plenty of support.

Truely, yet another sad day.

It is kindof a strang feeling having heard the noise. I looked outside to see what it could be, but never looked to the sky. It was 100 miles from me, and I could still hear it.

this is a very sad day and i belive that this was not an accedient because this is less than a week from bush's address of the nation and what kind of statement this would be to america if someone could hit a flying brick so to speak at about 12500 mph and 200,000 feet in the air!!!
all i have to say is that if this wasnt an accident enough show me where to sign and kill 'em all let god sort them out!!!
america will not stand for another terriost attack in air or land!!!!
i pray for all the famalies that this will effect!!

God, I remember the nuns coming in the classroom and telling us about the demise of the Challenger and its crew. I never thought we would have to see this again.

My prayers go out to these brave people and there families. Truly a terrible tradgedy. Sad that many take for granted what these brave men and women do, they make an extremely dangerous thing look like its just another days work.

I don't believe that it was intentional or terroristic. How many problems have they had in the past with shuttles? You also have to remember that the shuttle was built by humans and just like anything else it can't possibly be perfect...no matter what NASA says. If it is like any other builder in the aerospace industry it was built by the lowest bidder.
I don't think what we need is another trigger happy GI Joe thats ready to go to war at the drop of a hat starting anything. And believe me I don't think you want me to get started about President Howdy Doody and the Getalong Gang...

It is interesting that they died at 200,000 feet above the earth. They were almost in heaven anyway.maybe they saw a better sight and went there instead????
