spark plugs

I've just changed my electrical system from 6v to 12v. The orig spark plugs are supposed to be a heat range 10. The previous owner had heat range 18.
Does changing to 12v even matter with the plugs? Thanks Joe

6 or 12 volts will not effect the heat range of your plugs. The previous owner may not have understood heat ranges or was using a hotter plug for an engine with excessive oil usage
