I have a 73 Mustang that I just finished putting an engine in. It's a stock 302c.i. bottom end except for the piston rings and timing chain, but I went with a Summit camshaft .471 lift-218 intake and 228 exhaust duration at .050". I also went with a Performer 289 intake, Holley 600 carb, and a Mallory dual-point distributor. Can anyone give me possible pro's and con's to running either colder or hotter spark plugs?

thanks for the link,I knew there had to be more to it than (as long as you're not pinging, you're not to hot), gave me some good reading, been so many years since school forgot some of the simple old school basics
