special tool

Needed the following tool used on 292/312 CID Ford thunderbird engine.
FORMING TOOL - crankshaft rear oil seal.
Tool part number; T52L-6701-AGD

Why? It's a waste of money. Use a large, 1/2" drive socket, deep well - I left a short extension on it to keep from tearing up my fingers and then just rolled that crappy rope seal in place.

Better yet, get the Fel-Pro BS 6141 two piece neoprene seal shown at Rock Auto if you have a 292 cid. If you have a 312 cid, might have to still use that rope seal though Ebay lists one here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...item483d4062e6
