I did check it out before assembly.

BG and Summit need to kiss and make up, Jegs are way too expensive to use for overseas, so I´ve used Holley parts from Summit.

Again guys I got to say the one time I've messed with a BG carb and it was wrong for the application, no fault of BG's explained the situation and they were gracious to take it back for a full refund with no problems.

I still am going to buy another demon, I called prosystems today and they will let me ruturn my 950hp and are going to build me a smaller carb, but like i said I am going to get another demon just to have and compare.

So I decided to try my 625 cfm road demon jr on my 408 as I wont have a carb for a while, I was amazed as it shouldn't work good on my 408 but it idled nice and except for a small part throttle stumble ran great but after about 5 mins of driving it just stopped, I popped the hood and fuel was leaking and I noticed the front fuel bowl was filled all the way to the top and gas was just pouring into the engine, I lent it actually sold it to a friend for his 289 which had major rust in his tank, before he sold the car I gave him an edelbrock and took the demon back.......I could blame BG, but I know what the problem is........

Tech@BG why does a road demon jr run so good when I should have a "mighty demon"? Makes me think a speed demon will work just fine as it did with my 650vs speed demon.

I know duration of cam determines demon types, my int duration is within a speed demon (231.5), my exhaust duration is 2 deg's more than a speed demon (242)

Yet my cam is a custom cam that does not have a lot of overlap, is this a factor? It pulls 13-14hg at idle.

I have decided to buy a mighty demon 750 annular, also Pro-systems agreed to let me return my 950 hp and they will build me a smaller carb, 750 hp or so.

Its always good to have a "backup" I guess, After I receive both carbs I am going to tune them myself and then take my car to Superior Auto in Anaheim CA, I will have them baseline everything and then tune both carbs just for "information" Both carbs should flow similar airflow, but I am guessing they will be real close. The reman demon is under 500.00 (I'm Buying)or 549.00 new, the pro-systems was about 720.00.

I'm not doing this because I have money to burn, I really want efi but it's way more right now and I would like to post real world findings and know for myself what the results are. A lot of people bash demon carbs, some bash holleys but we are all looking for the best HP per dollar spent right?

As far as remanufactured products, I have great luck with them, they are cheaper AND have been gone thru at least twice.......
