Speedo Cable
Hi all. Have a rebuilt '41 dash (instrument )cluster. Trying to connect speedometer to 700R4 (1986). Speedo has a female connection. is this later GM speedo connection? They might have updated the speedo when i had it redone. Any help is appeciated. Thanks.

i might have missed something here, is it a chevy speedo? the '41 chevy speedo has a smaller size threaded bung than the newer chevys. i used a 60's style speedo cable and used the 1941 parts on the top! the ends are crimped on. i pulled the ends off and glued them back on!
