Speedo Cable leeking fluid
After connecting a speedometer cable to a Turbo 350 it started leaking fluid around the cable housing. No leaks before attaching cable, is there supposed to be an o-ring? Of course there was a speedometer drive gear in place but no leaks until I attached a cable, it's been awhile since I messed with a Turbo can't remember having this problem.

Yes there should be a seal, the speedo gear shaft goes thru the center of the seal. Also theirs a small steel ring that holds the seal in.You'll end up with ATF on your carpet right where your heel of your shoe rest when pressing the brake.Don't ask how I know.
