Speedo Cables

Dumb question:I need to know which make of cars have the thickest speedo cables or are they all the same thickness as Chevy?. I need to custom fab some cables for my power seats. Chrysler says they won't sell just the short cables and the ones on the seat are quite thick.

Look for a Mercedes power seat from the mid 80's to mid 90's in the junkyard. The motors were connected to the gearing via thick cables about 8-10" long. Of couse, getting the seat out without a battery hooked up (to move the seat to access the bolts) can be a pain.

Hate looking in the junk yard. I don't mind some custom fabricating. Keeps the hobby interesting. If I can't make up something, its off to the scrap pile.

Check with Lokar on the net. They make all kinds of cables for rods.
