Speedometer Cable Bolt
I got my roadster going and ran into a lot of leaks the newest is the old speedometer cable which had been cut off fell out of the TH350 transmission case. I am going without a speedometer as I will use my TomTom system instead. Anyway the bolt that held the old speedometer cable in place is now missing. I want to build block off plate and hold it in with this bolt. It seems to be metric. Does anyone know what size it is or do I go to the hardware store and buy 3/4 size and thread count? I tried a 1/4 course and it seemed to stop after one turn. This might sound like a stupid thread but I don't want to screw up the housing by bolting the wrong one in.
