Speedometer cable hook-up

For some reason, the previous owner diconnected the speedometer cable at boths ends on my 1954 1/2 ton pickup. I was underneath her yesterday and cannot find where the connection is on the transmission. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Honestly can't tell you more than it being a 4-speed. I looked all over and could see nothing that would even resemble a spot for it to be plugged into and tightened down.
