My speedometer stopped working, its still conected into the tailhouseing on the transmission (Th350) But it aint working and it makes a clicking noise when i get the car moveing, sometimes if i play with the cable it will work for a minute or 2 then quit again
Pull the cable out of the housing, inspect both ends, if it looks good, put one end in a vice and stretch it out and measure it, then give it a pull and stretch it about a 1/2 inch longer, apply some white grease and re install it. Good Luck.

Had no idea! This could be done!
Was just about to rip steering column out to pull speedo!

Thanks Troy!
