SPI Products

Hi everyone just wondering what other SPI products beside Epoxy primer have guys used and were satisfied with it long term.I'm looking for some good 2K primer and SPI prices are very good compared to PPG k38 which is $309.00 for 1 gal.Has anybody used Transtar .
Need some feed back on what 2k primers everybody is using with no long term problems.

Thanks

I like the Turbo primer which sands good and cures quickly..great for the blocking step..and about 150.00 for the gallon with activator..that is 5 quarts and mixes 4:1 Regular 2k is good as well..Bed liner is a good product for wheel wells that are subject to rock hits and can be used in the interior of your jeep or 4x4 to make it easy to get the mud out and works well for truck beds..of course the universal clear makes even me look like a pretty good painter..

I agree with everything said above. I am not a pro painter but have done a fair amount of painting and SPI products are top notch and the customer service is great. If you have a question they get back to you with an answer and quickly.

If it says SPI you cant go wrong..The epoxy we all rave about is so much better than any other it's rediculus. The Universal clear is the same way SUPERIOR...the 2K primer and everything else also top notch...Barry tries his best to take care of his customers and will take time to answear any questions you have ,pro or first timer...Dont let the good price fool you ,he could easily double the cost and still have a competitive product...
I've been using SPI for 5-6 yrs now...Hey,he'll even answear questions about other brands and using them succesfully...Try just getting a Dupont or PPG rep on the phone....To some we sound like a cult but this man takes care of us pros and we are a dedicated bunch that are tired of getting screwed over by all paint supply companies.....Using SPI has put money back into my pockets and the quality products make me and my work look better than ever.
If we could only get him to start an auto insurance company also we could really start making money again.....

Other than color coats, SPI is the only product line needed in my leetle shop. IF I wanted arrest me red color, then SPI would be my choice for color too.

As DBM said, Barry is the man, and his products are awesome.
