Post Spinning Tires

I have a 305 automatic in my 81 camaro and I can not get the tires spinning for anything. Any ideas? I have tried flooring it in low gear and holding the brake, neither work. Thanks in advance.

Talk to 5.0 Towncar about his bleach to tire injection setup. Other than that, how much money do you have to put into this car? I would suggest a deeper set of rear gears (numerically highr).

Can't get it too spin the tires, try putting some cooking oil on them, you will spin them, even with a 305 Chevy. You could alway just put a Ford engine in that Camaro and it will be a tire fryer, nah.... I am just kidding about both. If you want a safe smoke show for you Camaro, find a big block Chevy for it, that will destroy those tires.

I want to buy a 350, but I am cramped for money and my dad doesnt have a job. We could probably afford the engine itself but then we have to buy the exhaust parts and most likely change out the transmission and then have it installed and thats where the money really comes in.

instalation isn't hard at all. I just put a new motor in my truck, first time doing it, it went well. If you get too worried about something take pictures of it before you take it apart, and write the steps down if you feel it would help. The most important of all is to have all of your nuts & bolts together (intake bolts labeled and seperated from tranny bolts, ect).

Nothing wrong with waking up that 305 with some HIPO stuff, a set of gears will work wonders.
