spitting oil

I just built my 400 for my car and it only has about 2000 miles on it. I took it to the track for the first time the other night and my second pass it blew oil all over the front of my engine. Someone said it was because it is a truck block I need to put 4 bolts in the holes that are to the left and the right of the harmonic balancer. Ive never had this problem before and Its never had bolts in those holes. Ive had the engine wrapped pretty tight on the street also and never leaked a drop. Can someone help.

The top left {passenger side} hole goes to the fuel pump push rod.

I cap all 4 holes to keep mud dabbers out.

3/8 ~16 X 1/2" or 3/4"

I will send you a bill.

Maybe it built up some crankcase pressure and blew the intake manifold front seal out.

If that bolt hole were open all this time, it would have sprayed oil before now.

Well see Ive never got on it that hard for that long. It was a quarter mile track. And I only have a 5 qt pan on it. So Im thinking it just built up enough pressure to actually come out that hole. The seal on the manifold is good. I also thought it couldve been the seal the front of the oil pan but thats al good too. Im gonna block off that tomorrow and see what she does.
