Sport bikes

I've always wanted one so i figured what the hell am I waiting for!? Lol. I'm looking for used around $3000. I like the gsxr 600, r6, and cbr600 but they can be difficult to find in my price range. I'm also looking at the yzf600r. Anyone know anything about these bikes? Definitely want a 600, nothing smaller. I'm not sure if it's going to be too much of a cruiser though. What are your guys opinions on the bikes i've mentioned?

I own another brand of sportbike, but doing some reading at a forum always helps.

Wow i always seem to forget kawasaki! I like the gsxr though, they seem to be pretty solid. I had a suzuki quad and loved it.
