The spot weld cutters are great if one panel, or even both are to be re-used. You can cut thru only one panel, and separate them. If both of the panels are going to be re-used, they can be re-welded with the plugs aligned in the holes. If only one panel is being used, either grind off the plugs left from separating the panels, or use the holes for the plug welds.
