after reading all the treads on spray guns, ive gotten a headache. im also in the market of purchasing a spray gun, Im a novice, hobby use. but want to see the quality of the job.
My ques. is, are there any threads where members have posted pics of there paint jobs that they layed with the paint gun of their likings. This would make it alot easier to get an idea of the type of gun you might want to get and justify how much your willing to shell out for. thnx

Here's one thread showing the results I got with my Devilbiss Finish Line III. Be sure to read through to about the third page where it shows the paint after cutting and buffing (as shown in the photos below). BTW, this was my first base coat/clear coat paint job ever and I give full credit to the guys here on HR.Com who provided such great painting advice and to the Devilbiss gun that did most of the work.

I started out with the Finishline lll and still feel that is a great gun for the money. You can get a total of 4 different tips for it reasonably and can spray anything that you would ever want to use for painting a car. My only objection with it is that there is a fair amount of overspray, but not really abnormal . I was able to purchase an IWATA LPH400 at a very nice price so used it instead of the FLlll to do the finish painting on my car.Had this IWATA not been available, I would have painted my car with the other gun. The FLlll is about as good a bang for a buck as you can get - if you don't want to get into the $500 and up range.

strictly devilbiss here gti, pro or clear, great trigger response and they look good, but have flirted with sata,'either is a safe option
