I started out with the Finishline lll and still feel that is a great gun for the money. You can get a total of 4 different tips for it reasonably and can spray anything that you would ever want to use for painting a car. My only objection with it is that there is a fair amount of overspray, but not really abnormal . I was able to purchase an IWATA LPH400 at a very nice price so used it instead of the FLlll to do the finish painting on my car.Had this IWATA not been available, I would have painted my car with the other gun. The FLlll is about as good a bang for a buck as you can get - if you don't want to get into the $500 and up range.
This car was done, base and clear with the IWATA LPH400: ![]() The car is dusty in this photo ![]() The hood and top are now on so I do need a new photo ![]() Dave W |
