spring problem

Can somebody please help me. My 94 astro has new struts and shocks but, still has a very harsh ride. Do i need to change the springs to? How do ya know if the springs are shot?

welcome to the site

You said, STILL HARSH.

Bad springs would be sagging to below normal ride height.

Sounds like your new shocks are just too stiff. You need a softer shock.

You might also consider if your tires are stiff by design or brand. Some vehicles it makes a lot of difference to ride quality.
