Spring shim question

I need to order some shims for Comp 981-16 springs. I assume I need to order shims that match the O.D. of the 981-16 springs (ie. 1.250")?

Thanks.

Correct but you must also measure the OD of the guide on the head as the shims come with different ID's as well.

Give that man a cigar! Called Comp Cams tech support earlier (sorry, should've updated thread) and that's exactly what they recommended.

Thanks.
