squeaky 1st gen firebird

When ever i hit the very slightest of bumps, the whole car squeaks. I sprayed all the bushings i could see with wd-40 and didnt hear any difference. It squeaks in the rear too. What should i do? A bushings kit? thanks, joe

What kind of condition are the bushings in? The bushings in my Nova are completely shot and squeak a lot, too. I don't think any amount of WD-40 would help them.

If your bushings are in bad shape, replace them (just like I need to ). Should stop the squeaking and tighten up the handling.

i dont know, they dont look cracked? they are black. The car has drag springs in the front which raises the nose of the car. I dont know if they contribute to the noise but I can push the front of the car down with my hand and it squeaks. are any of the bushings pressed on in this car? The car has manual steering. Should the bushings be replaced all at once?
