autozone sells spectre brand hoses. try them.

I just bought some not long ago.

they also sell the braided hose cover kits to do the fuel lines and radiator hoses....but don't expect then to work out too well or stay nice and shiny too long.

hey vortec

I've never used the sleeve covering or the braided hoses but want to. I just bought the sleeve covering. you said it sucks. Please tell me why it sucks before I install it on the upper radiator hose of my car.

i have never used it. but, i have seen it at the car shows. the braid gets loose, wrinkled, bent, dented, stretched. and, as stated, the color doesn't stay right(i don't know why). this is because there isn't a TIGHT fitting rubber hose under it to support it.

though, i would say its possible to install it to look good. great care, the least amount of "handling", and probably a good amount of "experience" would be what it takes. and/or a good amount of luck, and/or an easy install = straight hose.

try it, and let use know(in this thread) how it works out. must have pics

i found that summit has what i want.
