SS El Camino suspension upgrade

I want to update the ride quality of my 72 El Camino SS. I have changed the front sway bar to a heaver one, put new Bilsein shocks on but not sure what to do in the rear. When going down the freeway in a sweeping turn if I hit a bump or the center markers the rear tends to hop or slide over upsetting the rear end. Will a Hotchkis type setup cure this without making the ride harsh? Any other ideas ?

suspension

i have a buddy with an 84 el camino, he also has 2 75's. the 75's have a ford 9" setup with the hotchkis. not a bad ride, just kindof rirgid. his 84 isa daily driver, had similar probs as you. he installed adjustable air shocks and let the air out. it gave hime more control, but more of a "floating" feel. it solved the problem though.
