Posted pic is the '74 Nova SS stripe package. Has decal "SS" on fenders and trunk lid corner, decal "NOVA", metal "SS" in grill, split double stripe on hood and trunk lid.

'73 Nova SS is similar with some differences,.. small, wide set hood stripes like the '74 but no divider in middle of stripe - its a solid stripe,... chrome diecast "Nova" emblem(same as 70-72) on fenders, and diecast "SS" letters(seperate letters, exact same emblem as 70-72 Chevelles have), diecast seperate "SS" letters on rear, and same diecast "SS" emblem in grill.

Similar, just more decal than diecast emblem on the '74's. I think the '73 package looks better, not as gaudy as the '74 decals. There is also a Red, White, and Blue "Spitit of '76" stripe package offered for the '74 for the coming bicentennial celebration

'74 Camaro Z28 had a pretty ugly stripe package on it also, friend has one an refused to put the stripe back on when it was painted. Big, billboard 3 foot wide single stripe on hood, pointed at the front with big 7" tall "Z28" starting the stripe.

Oh, I remember seeing the "spirit of 76" circa 1974 Nova. I hope didn't offend any Nova lovers, I just have never really appreciated the 70s aesthetic.
