stainless headersand blueing

considering purchasing used stainless headers......can bluing be polished out? going to inspect them soon and seem to remember seeing some blue around flange

thanks I guess the answer is yes, there used to also a product called Simechrome a British product also

The blue is Gods way of telling you that the headers were on an engine that ran and they should be ok.
