Stainless Steel Headers
Hi,
I'm new to the list and was searching the archives for recommendataions for headers for a sbc 350. I've yet to find a recommendation per se, but thought I'd ask about stainless steel. I've seen posts that ceramic will keep it's look and I'm wondering how the stainless version will wear or color. According to this ebay listing, it's suggested that they won't turn. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33631 Just curious because I want something good, that will last and will look good. They're going on a "restified" 1957 GMC NAPCO (4x4) Suburban/Carryall. Thanks! Keith |

I would go with the ceramic coated header. The stainless ones will discolor and darken a bit while the ceramic ones do not.

But SS will never rust out. You can polish the discoloration out so they look new again.
