my stall is leaking fluid but is only when i am moving the truck if it is in park it will not leak any fluid but as soon as i start moving it will leak alot of fluid should i replace it or what else is there to do

just in case it is not the seal because i am not sure it is a 350 transmission in an s10. it is a 3000 rpm stall it was installed by a friend i have had it for about 3 weeks it was new it has about 10 miles on it. some one told me it was the seal they told me if it was the stall it would leak out of fluid quick it is around the bell houseing area. i did not install an oil cooler with the stall i really do not know were to look for the leak on the stall if it is
I'll make a W.A.G. since you provide some information...
3000 stall converter builds heat in the trans. You indicate that you did not install any additional cooling for the trans.
I guess the trans has been hot , the pump bushing has walked forward into the back side of the seal...... this will cause the leakage.
next question answer: yes the trans must be removed for the repair.
Please remember this is only a guess with info you provided
