Need more info to answer.

Stock cam? Modified engine? What type of performance and driving conditions are you looking for? Street only? Drag only?

Come on Frisco. All you have to do is a 2 second quick search on his prior posts and you can see all the different 'hypothetical' combo's in his set-up.
He's rebuilt this 'car' a couple times over just in the last two weeks. I have this, I have that, what will she run, yada yada yada...

Well, I guess I missed his previous posts.

Hypothetically then, for a stock engine he should use a stock converter and for an all out drag car he should use a COAN or Hughes 5000 RPM converter. More than likely something in between the two will work.

Usually I prefer to suggest that the person asking the question concerning which converter to use go to either Coan or Hughes and give ALL the specs on their engine, trans, rear gears, rear tire diameter and total vehicle weight as well as the intended use to their tech person for a CORRECT recommendation rather than someones "educated guess".

Most of us can suggest (based on our own experiences) a converter that would work, but as you know there are many variables to consider.
