standard bolt pattern on duel pattern heads

Here the deal i have a set of gmpp vorteck heads with the duel bolt pattern for valve covers and intakes. money changes have changed my plans was going to use air gap intake on these heads. Still wont to do so however have noticed big price differences between the vortex pattern and standard pattern. SO i was thinking getting the cheaper stander bolt pattern but on reading these boards have discover that the runners between standard and vortec don't line up. So this is my basic question since the heads have duel bolt patterns is the runner line up issues dealt with as well are will there still be issues and should just save a Little longer and get the vortec pattern intake?

Hey Skeeter, the GM Vortec Bowtie 25534421 (185cc) and 25534431 (215cc) heads can use either the Vortec style intake or the earlier conventional design intake. If using conventional intake, use intake gasket GM 12497760 or Fel-Pro 1289 or Fel-Pro 1207.
