Starblast by another name?

Is there another name for starblast or is it called something different here in Canada?
What about crushed glass how will it work?About $10 a bag here .I have been using soda ( not so sure that's a good idea now!) and I need something to remove the rust. Hard to get medias here as I was told that soda has to come from St Louis and is close to $70 a bag I went to the feed store and got it for $14 a bag sift it before I use it seems to work well they say the $70 stuff cuts better???? But are there any ideas ( like the feen store ) where I might be able to get something like corn cobs or will that be a specialty also .
Thanks

Starblast is a DuPont product so one would have to find a Dupont jobber somewhere..Some of these medias are a caution to get if one is outside of a metro area..The crushed glass should be fine as it is inert and does not leave any residue like soda does..Just wear a good mask when using that stuff..

One thing I like to reccomend is to sand the areas one can reach with your sander and then just blast the hard to get areas like door jambs and up under the dash and areas like that..saves a lot of mess and media..

Course every one does not always agree with me in this area..

Sam
