starter fitting problems
I have a 76 nova and i just recently had to swap the original 250 w/ integrated intake to a 1970 250 i already looked up the casting numbers and it said it was cast in december of 1970 and i bought a new 168 tooth flywheel and a starter to bolt up on the '70 250 but it wont bolt up because the flywheel is hitting the nose cone and the pinion on the starter any ideas?

i cant even get it close enough to bolt it on with the 153 or the 168 is there supposed to some sort of spacer block or something like that? |

I put a starter off of a 350 and used the drill guide from Leo Santucci's book and it turned right over =D
