Which starter to get.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am looking to get a lighter starter. The car is a street/strip car and I am looking to reduce weight & have a starter that will last the many starts at the track. My starter solenoid is shot I believe. Anyway just looking for advice on a good light & smaller starter for the chevelle.

Theres 10 different mini starters shown in Summits catalog. I bought mine from a guy I know, he builds them at his shop, 1.6 or 2.4 hp. "Pro Line CNC Machine Shop" in Parker, Az. His name is Ron Cook (928) 669-6411, tell him what you need and he'll build you one accordingly.
