starter issues
ok, my car will give a nasty grinding sometimes when I try to start her...Im thinking I have a a fly wheel issue or mabey its just normal for a damn mopar to do that...(I dont think so) Anyways, its a newer remanned starter, so was wondering if anybody ever has this problem or what else could be making the stater do this?

If it is a small or big block pentastar the ring gear is on the convertor if an auto trans. I'd pull the starter first. Also not sure how mother mopar does it but check pinion clearance.

I would check for loose bolts on the started or possibly the wrong hardware was used to mount the starter. I had the same problem with a BBC and it turned out that the bolts were about 1 thread too long and so the starter was never actually tight. I ended up breaking that starter in half before I figured it out.
