Usually on a GM, the switch itself is under the column near the brake pedal. It is built into the neutral safety switch. A rod runs up from it to the key.
X3..... it might be bolted to the column by 2 bolts/screws...... mark the switch's position before you remove them, it helps getting it back in the right spot when re-installing
