Starting interior renovation on my '55 fairlane
Where is a good supplier of interior seat fabric, headliners and carpet?
|
I used Garys out of FL because they sent samples. Be sure to use a walking foot machine. :welcome:

Thanks Cape Cod Bob (my bad) I'll check it out. I'm just now getting started by cleaning up the neglected car. I'll post photos soon. I didn't want to take any pics of it in its present condition-to gross! I found a store in Huntington Beach, Calif. called Vintage Ford parts but they don' t carry interior fabrics. thanks again!!

If you want fabric that is original to your car, check out SMS CLICK HERE and Dearborn Classics. SMS is by far the better of the two, but they are also the most expensive.
This car was done with original Ford fabrics from SMS. With some cars they can make seat covers for you. |

Thank you thank you thank you; you guys are great in giving me info. I'll check out the site. My son is getting exicited about helping with this project. (He is supervisor for Border Patrol) He doesn't know it yet but when we're done the car is his. I am just barely gathering information of where to get the right parts and finishes. Got the car cleaned up yesterday. I'll post pics sometime today. Thanks again Dan.
