We need more information than that...do you think it is a heat related problem? Or is it a interferance problem? Did this happen immediately after you put the headers on?

no its not a heat problem, is a clearance problem. with the headers on my steering rod hits the header and i cant get it to line up its about a 4 inch differance. is there a special adapter that i have to use?

Its called a 'U-Joint" You can get them from Borgeson Universal Company. www.Borgeson.com You may also need a short piece of shaft and possibly a support bearing and bracket. Take a look at what they have, you can get everything you need to re-position your steering shaft around your headers.

You probably have the wrong headers for your truck. If you do a google search for "V8 headers S10" you will find the ones that are built for this conversion.

If " very thing works with no problems" then you don't have a problem.
