steering box for 1980 Dodge Aspen
I have a 1955 Ford F-100 with the Dodge Aspen front graft. The PS box is huge and I had problems shoehorning my 351W in place. Now I plan to put in a 331 blown hemi and have decided to go manual. Your box will be a core that I want to rebuild with a 20:1 ratio. Can you answer a question that is driving me mad. What is the difference betwen the pre 73 manual steering boxes and the post 73. I know that mopar wnt to large sector shafts on PS, but what about manual. When I reag Moogs nr for pitman arms they are the same nr for pre 1973 and different ( except for c bodies and imperials) after. Is it only the sector arm that is different?? Are ALL manual boxes for A,B,E F M and J bodies identical (ie small sector)?? Can I use an early manual steering box on an Aspen with the Moog 7100 pitman arm?? Please help me anyone

Thanks, but I just need to know if there is a difference between pre 73 and post 73 manual steering boxes and if the difference between the Moog K7100and K7101 is the sector size.
