Steering Box spline help
I am working on a GM 800 Steering box with a spline that I will be fitting a Borgeson U joint over the spline. What I am finding is that there is a tip on the end of the spline and it is interfering with the movement of the U joint. Can you cut that tip off? Or does that truly serve a purpose? Any help would be appreciated since I would like to work on this project today.
Thanks, Scott
