Question steering colmun

I am in the process of putting in a newer (76) column keyed steering column in my 66 Chevy truck. Is there anyone here who has been through this that can shed some light on connecting the wiring up. I have replaced the old harness(original) with a replacement and would like to just splice into this if possible. Any help would be great. Thanks Denny

Check here. There should be a plug half way down the column which all after market harness suppliers connect to. If there isn't one, get another column 'cause someone has thrashed that one.

I did the swap and can tell you then make an adapter that you can plug into your signal harness and the opposite end matches up the the longer straight plug in on the newer column. I didn't know this and cut my connector and soldered on the matching connector of my old column to the newer column.

Check with your local part store.
